1.         Dean, College of Agriculture (For a term of four years)

i)          B.Sc./B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc.(Hons.) at least with second division.

ii)         Ph.D. in any discipline of Agricultural Science with good academic record.

iii)        Twelve years’ experience in teaching/ research/ extension in Agricultural Science in a College/ Institution out of which, atleast three years must be as Professor/ equivalent.

2.         Registrar (For a term of four years)

i)          A Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.     

ii)         At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent/ Associate Professor or equivalent of which 8 years should be in Associate Professor or equivalent grade with experience in Educational Administration.

                                                            OR

            Comparable experience in research establishments and other institutions of higher education

                                                            OR

            15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

3.         Comptroller (For a term of four years)

1)         Graduate with second division or a Postgraduate.

2)         Must have passed S.A.S. Examination held by the Comptroller and  Auditor General of India/ State Finance Department or Higher Standard Examination of PAU.

3)         Must have 10 years experience in a supervisory capacity in financial management/ administration out of which he must have five years experience of Accounts Officer/ Deputy Registrar or equivalent in Govt.office/ institution preferably in a University.

                                                            OR 

Graduate with second division and Chartered Accountant with 55% marks having 6 years experience in the field of Financial Management in Govt./ Public Sector undertaking           

B)        Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment)

4.         Senior Biochemist

i)             An eminent scholar having Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry/ Food Technology with OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks and actively engaged in teaching/research/extension with published work having atleast 10 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers in indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered journals/books.

ii)         Ten years experience in teaching/research/extension education in the area of wheat quality evaluation, out of which, at least two years should be as Associate Professor or equivalent in the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000+AGP Rs.9000/- and remaining as Assistant Professor/ equivalent (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D.degree will not be counted as research experience).

iii)        Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).

5.         Associate Professor of Computer Science

i)          Master’s degree with OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.

ii)         Ph.D. Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering.

6.         Deputy Director (Trg.) at KVKs (Two posts)

i)          Ph.D. Degree in any branch of Agriculture and allied sciences/ discipline with OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.

ii)         Eight years experience in teaching/ research/ extension education in the discipline of Agriculture at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree will not be counted as research experience).

iii)        Substantial contributions to research and scholarship as evidenced by quality of papers published with a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books and/or adoption of results of research, innovations in teaching/ extension education.

iv)        Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).

7.         Assistant Professor (Bioinformatics)

i)          B.Sc.(Bioinformatics)/ B.Sc.(Biotech.)/B.Sc. at least with second division.

ii)         Master’s degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Molecular Genetics (with proven experience in Bioinformatics) with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

iii)        Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant discipline conducted by ASRB/ UGC/ CSIR with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal. 

iv)        Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment)

8.         Assistant Director Physical Education

i)          Graduate with atleast second division in the relevant discipline.

ii)         Master’s degree in Physical Education with 55% marks or equivalent.

iii)        Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant discipline conducted by ASRB/ UGC/ CSIR with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal.

iv)        Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment

9.         Assistant Plant Pathologist at outstation

i)          B.Sc./B.Sc.(Agri.) at least with second division.

ii)         Master’s degree in Plant Pathology with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

iii)        Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant discipline conducted by ASRB/ UGC/ CSIR with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal.

iv)        Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).

10.       Assistant Professor (Agril.Engg.) at KVK

i)          Bachelor degree in Agril.Engg. at least with second division.           

ii)         Master’s degree in Agril.Engg. with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

iii)        Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant discipline conducted by ASRB/ UGC/ CSIR with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal.

iv)        Must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language which may be specified by the PAU.
