l. PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST
Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agronomy / Soil Science and Agril Chemistry
(a) Doctoral degree in the relevant subject or related field including relevant basic sciences; (b) 10 years experience in Research/Teaching /Extension Education.
2. SENIOR SCIENTIST
Agronomy / Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry / Entomology / Plant Pathology / Plant Breeding & Genetics /Agricultural Engineering / Soil Water Engineering
(a) For disciplines other than Engineering subject
Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience
OR
Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience
(b) For Engineering disciplines
Doctoral degree in relevant engineering subject with 4 years experience.
OR
Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience.
OR
Master’s degree in the relevant engineering subject with 8 years experience.
3. SCIENTIST
Agronomy / Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry / Entomology / Plant Pathology / Plant Breeding &
Genetics / Horticulture / Agricultural Economics & Farm Management www.govnaukri.com
(i) Passed National Eligibility Test conducted by the ICAR or UGC/CSIR or some Central agency ; OR
(ii) A Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject or related field (2) Besides conditions mentioned above, the candidates are required to fulfill the following minimum qualification and percentage of marks for
recruitment for the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent posts as
under: -
(i) Master’s degree or equivalent with good academic record in the concerned subject; Ph.D. having at least II Division Master’s degree (50% marks) OR a without Ph.D. with at least a high II Division Master’s degree (55% marks) and above ;(ii) Bachelor’s degree with II Division (50%).
